Fr. Josephat (left) and Fr. Ben (right) picked us up at the Nairobi airport and took us to nearby Athi River, where we stayed with them at the parish for 4 days. Will knows them from his last trip to Kenya. On Sunday, they took us to visit an ostrich farm in Maasai land.

Kisumu/ Masoga, KENYA
A traditional mud house with a thatched roof.We made our way to Kisumu to stay with Will's friend, Fr. Peter. We thought he lived in the city but really he lived in a small village 45 km away from Kisumu with no electricity or running water. It was a pre-introduction to rural Kenya. While we were there, we visited a convent for the day and also went down to Lake Victoria.
